What we collect

FoldCheck has no accounts and no sign-in. We do not ask for your name or email.

When you send a report or tap "I want this", we store your answer together with a one-way hash of your network address and the current month. We use it only to stop the same connection from voting twice on the same app version. We do not store the address itself.

Your browser remembers which apps you voted for in local storage, so the button stays marked. You can clear it in your browser settings at any time.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which features are used, for example searches and reports. Google Analytics sets cookies and receives your IP address and basic device information. See how Google uses this data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Advertising

Some pages may show ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can turn off personalized ads at adssettings.google.com, and read more at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.

Some pages may also show ads from Adsterra, an advertising network that may use cookies and similar technologies to select and measure ads. See adsterra.com/privacy-policy for details.

Visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland are asked for consent before personalized ads are shown.

Search

App search suggestions are fetched by your browser directly from the Apple App Store search service, so Apple receives your search terms and IP address under its own privacy policy.

Hosting

The site runs on Cloudflare, which processes requests and may keep short-lived logs for security and performance.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it.
